5. Cash on Delivery Policy
Once the order has been made on delivery, you make a binding commitment to conclude the transaction, paying the amount foreseen on delivery. Last-minute changes are not allowed, once the order is confirmed on the site, it is immediately registered and is ready to be dispatched from the warehouse. So you CANNOT:
- Refuse delivery or not pay the delivery boy, sending the package back.
- Cancel the order when the shipment is already on its way.
You are obviously protected by the Right of Return (point 2), but only AFTER having duly received and paid for the order upon delivery. This is because the Cash on Delivery has a service cost that US company will advance to you, paying it immediately to the shipping company that will deliver the order. Therefore, in addition to being completely incorrect, it is illegal to refuse to pay on delivery, precisely because you have a debt towards us relating to the cost of the cash on delivery, which we kindly advance you. We warn you in advance of this, as there have already been cases of "pseudo-customers" who have refused delivery, not paying for the order. Doing such a thing is a total lack of respect for our work (as well as your consistency), but above all it is entirely to your detriment. In fact, if you fail to pay your order to the delivery man, you are obliged to refund us the Service Cost of the Cash on Delivery that we have paid for you to the shipping company, no later than 7 days from the date of non-delivery. After this deadline, we will legally entrust our Credit Recovery Agency with the practice of recovering the credit we have from you. And you will respond directly to the agency for further economic and bureaucratic burdens deriving from failure to comply with your obligation.
